Scout Expedition Challenge

The older Scouts have also completed their Expedition Challenge this term, again this is an integral part of the Chief Scout Award but a bigger challenge than the Cubs one.

They hike over 2 days, reading maps, carrying their tents and cooking equipment as well as their own personal kit. They then have to set up camp and prepare tea.

The overnight camp was at Sandwich Lakes, a favourite of the Scout leaders and all who took part completed the challenge, with a little bit of help from the leaders.

Well done to all who took part and thanks again to the Scout Leaders who gave up their weekend to support them through it.
