Well done to everyone that took part in this years District Fishing Competition at Deal Pier.

This year’s group camp event took place at Grosvenor Hall, Ashford which is an outdoor activity centre.   The event was subsidised from a Co – op Grant we had received during lockdown.  The camp is a great way to strengthen the bonds between the sections of the group and for the first time our new Explorer Unit was able to take part.

As part of the Groups 40th Birthday celebrations the Beavers, Cubs & Scouts spent a weekend at Kingswood Activity Centre.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone, what a fantastic turnout, the best ever I think.

Huge well done to all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Leaders that took part in this years District Cross Country.

14^th Broadstairs Scout Group took to the stage to show off their talents and raise much needed funds for the group.

Anita passed away on Sunday 8^th April wrapped in the love of her family.   Anita was diagnosed with bowel and liver cancer just before Xmas. In true Anita style she decided to fight and was determined it wouldn’t beat her. Sadly she got an infection and spent two weeks in the Hospice in March but ever strong she defeated that and returned home. Unfortunately she was not able to fight a second infection that took hold within days of coming home.
