Cubs – Emergency Aid

The majority of the cubs have worked hard over a 3 week period to achieve their emergency aid level 2 badge (they had to attend all 3 weeks). They have learnt many different things including; how to dress wounds, put on a sling and place someone in the recovery position along with alot of other vital and useful information. In the final week they learnt how to resuscitate someone using the resus dummies.  You should now feel safe as you have your own personal first aiders in the family, although they have all been told not to practice their resuscitation skills on the living!

Well done to everyone for all the hard work put into achieving this badge.

William loved doing this – we still have his bloody bone fracture on a piece of cotton wool in his bedroom!
