Cub Camp 2019

A fantastic weekend at Belchamps campsite in Essex. The green fields met us and after a few hitches with the tents we were set up for a great weekend.

The cubs had a go at an array of inflatables , including jousting and a demolition derby. Then there was a great pedal cars circuit, I would suggest some of our cubs never learn to drive! The assault course was a challenge for all and everyone got very muddy but overcame fears in doing so. A
treasure hunt in the woods had them looking for secret treasures and they had challenges and clues to solve as well.

The site was fantastic with a wooded area behind that gave the cubs freedom to explore. There was a great tree nearby that they could climb and a massive field for games. For many this was a first time away, so well done to those of you who achieved your first nights away with us.

We had a great campfire and the whole weekend was great.

As usual all the cubs behaved very well and set a great example to others on nearby sites.

Thanks to the dad who did the long drive up to deliver equipment.
