The Scouts tried out a great new campsite this year and traveled to Braggers Wood in the New Forest.

A beautiful green site surrounded by trees they had a great week trying out some different activities.

They took Canadian Canoes up the river, some took a while to get going but all managed it in the end.

They had a go at archery with some master archers being discovered amongst the group.

A mini expedition challenge was set with all making it safetly back to camp for tea.

A shooting competition ended with Point 5 being beaten in the final shoot out!

They cooked their own meals on open fires and learnt some new techniques.

The whole group went off on a 20 mile cycle ride through the forest, most made it to the end but some of the leaders were a little saddle sore!

There was also an exciting trip to an inflatable system at the nearby outdoor pool, fun was had by all.

There was lots of time for free time and the odd game of bat and trap as well.

Once again a very successful week, the last summer camp for many!
Thanks to all the leaders for your hard work to ensure all had a great time.
