Explain how different weather patterns are measured

Record the weather conditions every day for two weeks, or once a week for 3 months

a. Keep a diary making a note of the weather each day/week
b. Think about ways to measure the amount of rain or temperature
c. Try to compare what is in your diary with the weather that was forecast; do they get the forecast right?

c. Try to include at least 5 different types

Explain how weather forecasts are created

a. Find out about how weather forecasts are created; create a poster or write some instructions explaining the process behind it
