Beavers – Harvest Parade & True or False Quiz

The day began with 20 Beavers and the Leaders meeting at St Peters Church to celebrate the Harvest Festival. This service was different to all our standard church parades as people had been asked to bring their pets to the service. We didn’t partake in this due to concerns of the animals being unruly, so instead the Beavers arrived clutching their cuddly toys. There were lots of animals bought in and the service was enjoyed by most.

After church parade, 7 of the Beavers headed to 11th Broadstairs Scout Hut to take part in the True or False Quiz. Although some of the questions were easy a lot of them were also very difficult. It was good to see our Beaver Scouts all working together as a team but also having fun! the Beavers came 5th overall but all took their placement in good spirit!! Well done Beavers for giving it a go and representing our Group!!
