Scout Staves

Over a couple of weeks our Scouts and Explorers joined together and have been making Scout Staves.

Having covered knife safety first they cut rings at 12″ intervals, notches at 1″ interval’s along the bottom 12″s. Tried their hand at some pyrography then whipped a grip on them with paracord.

This covered a number of bits from various badges, Knives and Knife Safety from the Survival Badge, Craft Badge and Pioneering Badge.
