Cubs – District Quiz & Fizz

Well done to all the Cubs who took part in the Thanet District Quiz and Fizz competition. 16 teams took part and answered questions on a variety of subjects including history, scouting, sports and numbers. We were able to enter 2 teams, Team Gold (Ned, Tobin, Charlie and Naimh) and Team Blue (Alfie, Brandon, Grace and Jorge) Special thanks to Alfie and Jorge for stepping in at the last minute. Team Gold included 3 of the team that finished 4th last year and they were determined to improve on this position this year.

It was a closely fought competition and as the results were announced the tension and excitement grew with Team Gold being announced the overall winners. They received a lovely trophy to add to our collection and a 50p Scout coin.

Both teams were as usual a credit to the group and worked well together supporting each other. Congratulations to both. Our Team Blue were our younger team and hopefully the experience gained will enable them to challenge for a top 3 place next year!
